RAK!!!!!

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! We did!! It seems everywhere we went, the twins would find a game system to play.

My wonderful hubby fried the best turkey ever!!! With a little help from my awesome dad.

Check out Baby's 'cheese' while sitting with his Pa Stancil. Hilarious!

Aren't these two just the cutest toddlers in the entire world!

We had a wonderful time! Thanksgiving has to be my favorite holiday. You get to be around the ones you love without all the commercialism. Of course I could also do without all the calories. Oh well.
I have been swamped lately! I've got my Christmas cards done:

I am now working on my Christmas calendars. I'm only on March!!
Now for the RAK. It has been unusually cold around here and I hate the cold! I don't go out except when necessary. Therefore... I bake. A LOT!! So for my RAK honoring my 100th post, I want you to tell me your favorite baked goody or homemade candy. Don't be afraid to share your recipe!! LOL! I'll put your name in a hat and draw a winner next Tuesday. The winner will get this:

There are at least 100 sheets of 12X12 pattern paper here in every color!
As for my favorite goody... I LOVE Oreo balls!! I'll share a pic and recipe next Tuesday. Who knows, by then I may have a new fave!
Have a great day!

What an awesome RAK! Who doesn't love paper! :) As for my favorite treat-SNICKERDOODLES. I love, love, love them!! I've baked 2 batches in the past week. :) Yummy! I think I might like to try out the Oreo balls when you post the recipe!

I agree with Becky "Who doesn't love paper!" My favorite treat would have to be Pumpkin Bread (although Fudge has to run a close second!) I can't wait until I get time to make some of either one!

Can't wait for the recipe for the Oreo Balls!

Congrats on 100!! I had mine a few months ago, so I know now exciting it is!! You were one of my first commenters too!!

My favorite holiday treat recipe is Double Decker Fudge. My mom got this recipe off of a Reese's Peanut Butter chip bag about 20 years ago (oh man, I think I just dated myself, lol!).

2 cups (12 oz pkg)peanut butter chips, divided
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/5 cup baking cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
4 1/2 cups sugar
1 jar marshmallow creme
1 1/2 cups (12 oz can) evaporated milk
1/4 cup butter

1.Line a 13x9 pan with foil. place 1 cup peanut butter chips in med bowl; set aside. In second med bowl, blend 1/4 cup melted butter, cocoa and vanilla till smooth; add 1 cup peanut butter chips.
2.In heavy 4-qt saucepan, combine sugar, marshmallow creme, evaporated milk and 1/4 cup butter. Cook, stirring constantly, over med heat till mixture comes to a rolling boil; boil and stir 5 mins.
3.Remove from heat. Immediately add half of hot mixture to bowl with peanut butter chips only. Pour remainder into cocoa mixture; stir to blend.
4.Beat peanut butter mixture until chips are completely melted; spread evenly in prepared pan.
5.Beat cocoa mixture until chips are melted and mixture thickens. Spread evenly over top on peanut butter layer.
6.Cool; remove from pan. Remove foil; cut into squares.

That is directly from the recipe off of the bag! It seems difficult, but is really easy and SO YUMMY!! Let me know if you try it and what you think! I tried to find the recipe online, and it is not available. They have one like it, but it is nothing like this one, trust me on that, lol!!
