Family Pictures

I'm sure you remember these photos of Baby climbing out of his crib. I got a chance to scrap them last week while the boys stayed with my parents (and while Baby was learning to climb out of their playpen!!). He is soooo active! I don't remember the twins being this active, but honestly I don't remember much about the twins until about 3 years old... when the shock finally wore off!! :D LOL!
I hope everyone had a great Easter celebrating our Lord's Resurrection! We did. My side of the fam went to church and then spent the day together. It was so nice. We took lots of great pics and I thought I'd share a few.
Needless to say, Baby takes after his Daddy!
This was as close to a picture as we could get of me with my boys. For some reason it never seems to work out. Today, Baby wanted his brother, but there's always some reason I can't get a good pic of us. Most of the time one of the boys have their eyes closed. I save them anyway.
Getting this many people to smile and keep their eyes open is hard enough, but then I have to deal with my darling husband's sense of humor! LOL!!!
And finally, this is my fam. It's the first pic we've had together since I was a teenager. It is a very special photo and I will cherish it!
Hope everyone has a great day!

Creativity and Heavy Hearted

Hope everyone had a great St. Patties Day! We did. Here's a LO using the technique from Noel Hyman's tutorial. I gathered several embellishments together and also put them in a position that will form a triangle. I thought it looked much better and it is soooo different from my usual LO's. I have continued using this technique and I really like my pages better.
Now, a look ahead to one of my favorite celebrations.... Easter! Last year, Easter was a little different because it was also my hubby's 30th birthday so the festivities lasted all week and kind of took over Easter and it's real meaning. This year, since it's coming early, we really get to focus solely on Jesus and His sacrifice for us. Here are my Easter cards for this year.

Matthew 20:18-19 is typed on the inside. This is the first year I've made Easter cards. It was alot of fun!
One other thing. I have been reading up on Oprah and Friends and my heart has been so heavy as I read what she believes and what her morning radio show is teaching. She believes and is currently teaching on her XM radio station that there is no sin, no devil, no evil, and that you are god. It's a daily study of rethinking and retraining your mind. This study even goes so far as to say that the journey to the cross should be the last "useless journey", a "slain Christ has no meaning." and "the recognition of God is the recognition of yourself". The course is called "A Course In Miracles". Please pray that her eyes will be opened to the true Jesus Christ. So many follow her and sadly, so many will be deceived. I leave you with this verse:
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetious, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power therof: from such turn away.
2 Timothy 3:1-5

The Calm Before The Storm

So, my guys seem to be well for the moment and my camera has returned good as new. Yeh!!!!!!! Now comes the calm before the storm. Everyone will be home on EASTER break (I know it's spring break, but in our home it will forever be called Easter break). Any hoo, let me jump down off my soap box. So starting Friday, my life will be total chaos again. That's o.k. I wouldn't have it any other way. We spent the weekend cheering on our team. Number 1 Tar Heels, ACC Champs again and going for NCAA Champs!!! Here's a pic of my guys all decked out in their Tar Heel garb!
Afterwards, the guys played a little football (which is really my sport of choice! Love those Panthers!)
And last, but not least... a page I did last week and couldn't share. I watched a tutorial on paperclipping.com and Noel was talking about clustering your embellishments. I found it very helpful for getting my LO's to look better. I didn't do it so much on this one, but I did do it on some LO's that I'm going to post this week. I thought someone else my benefit from that little tidbit of info.

Happy St. Patties Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update

So, Baby boy seems to have developed a cough and is still pulling his ears, but no fever so I'm giving him the weekend to show MUCH improvement! Nick's tick bite is soooo much better (thank the Lord.) I was really worried. Now he's caught a stomach bug. Had to get the poor thing early from school today. After 3 trips to the bathroom, he slept for 4 hours! Noah seems fine.

Happy note... my camera is suppose to arrive fixed Monday:D!! Can't hardly wait to get it back. I've done a few pages I really want to share. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Where did Last Week Go?

Wow! Last week really flew! What a week it was! Baby got sick, DH caught the bug from him, I got a head cold and the bug! The twins got sick. My camera was broken. Had to take Baby and one twin back to the doc today! Meds aren't working for Baby and Nick got a tick (didn't know it was warm enough for ticks!) and the spot got infected so he's now on meds too!! Needless to say, I haven't done very much creating and what I have done I can't share because I don't have a camera to load pics from. Hopefully, my camera will be back soon and things can get back to normal. What ever "normal" is.
