Creativity and Heavy Hearted

Hope everyone had a great St. Patties Day! We did. Here's a LO using the technique from Noel Hyman's tutorial. I gathered several embellishments together and also put them in a position that will form a triangle. I thought it looked much better and it is soooo different from my usual LO's. I have continued using this technique and I really like my pages better.
Now, a look ahead to one of my favorite celebrations.... Easter! Last year, Easter was a little different because it was also my hubby's 30th birthday so the festivities lasted all week and kind of took over Easter and it's real meaning. This year, since it's coming early, we really get to focus solely on Jesus and His sacrifice for us. Here are my Easter cards for this year.

Matthew 20:18-19 is typed on the inside. This is the first year I've made Easter cards. It was alot of fun!
One other thing. I have been reading up on Oprah and Friends and my heart has been so heavy as I read what she believes and what her morning radio show is teaching. She believes and is currently teaching on her XM radio station that there is no sin, no devil, no evil, and that you are god. It's a daily study of rethinking and retraining your mind. This study even goes so far as to say that the journey to the cross should be the last "useless journey", a "slain Christ has no meaning." and "the recognition of God is the recognition of yourself". The course is called "A Course In Miracles". Please pray that her eyes will be opened to the true Jesus Christ. So many follow her and sadly, so many will be deceived. I leave you with this verse:
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetious, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power therof: from such turn away.
2 Timothy 3:1-5

Wow, this makes me so sad. Thanks for sharing the info about Oprah and I assume what is related to her much touted Book Club book. I bypassed it, knowing it wasn't Christian-based but had no idea it was this far out there! I was just telling my friends at Bible study last week how I'd always thought she was Christian but with this latest book club book, how could she be? I'm sad for her, and for all those she influences with this.
