FWF: It's A Little Different

I am SUPER excited today because I am taking my boys to the CIRCUS!!!! I can't wait for them to see the animals and watch the show!!! We try to set aside time every month to do something extra special with the boys. Sometimes it's the park, sometimes a movie... I hope in the grand scheme of things that it will keep us close during those quickly approaching teen years. :)
For my FWF, I decided to shack things up a bit. I was talking to a friend and she said she wanted to buy a Copic marker to see what the fuss was about so I decided to show her. I did NOT use Copics though (they are out of my price range). I used Prismacolor markers which are on sell at Jerry's Artaroma right now for $1.99 each!!
In my first example I used my Marvy paint pens which I love. I use them with my stamps A LOT!

You can see my lines and ordinarily I would NEVER color the background with these, but I was trying to make a point. :)

In this one I used my Prismacolor markers. You can clearly see that the lines are not as noticeable.

And here is my finished card using the Prismacolor markers.

I am in NO way an expert at this. There are TONS of tutorials out there that you can read, but I learn more when I just sit and play. :)
Hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend!!

This stamp is from the Go Ahead... Wish kit.

Ooooh! Love that black key on the finished card!
I am actually loving the look of the Marvy paint pens (adding to my shopping list!), especially with this image. Gives it that handmade/homespun look. TFS!

You are so nice to show this Michelle and your card turned out great! Have fun at the circus and believe me, even in their teens you'll still be close...driving them around to friends homes and skateparks, and baseball...heehe I do this lots, as you can see and my son and I still 'talk' in the car! Have a fabulous weekend!

Great card! Thanks for the marker demo. I can't afford Copics either so I will look for the Prismacolor.
