A Horse and a LO

I am so excited about this LO. One of my own personal goals is to use digital templates to make traditional pages. I love digital LO but let's face it they are expensive to print and mine will likely never be printed. I like to flip through my albums often and I think the page below is the perfect example of how to get the best of both worlds. I made the template for the circle using a bowl in my kitchen and a little imagination. Then I painted and glittered some letters (some are Basic Grey and I glued pattern paper onto them). The arrow was the connecting touch. I entered it in a contest at http://juliebonner.typepad.com/. Go check her out. She's doing a weekly sketch challenge. And she's doing a special challenge.

On another note... my mom and dad brought this horse for Timothy. All 3 boys have really enjoyed it and I've enjoyed watching them.
Have a Happy Thursday!!

Super cute LO!! I just love the colors you used and those letters are awesome!!

I used to have a horse just like that when I was little. I named him Trigger, and I loved playing on him! I think I may even have some pics around here of myself on that fun horse.

The tutorial is up on my blog if you'd like to give it a try! I'm glad I could inspire you to make some cards!!

great idea to use the templates this way!
super cute, and the glittery letters are so happy

If you ever wanted to try printing a digi layout too you can do it on a 12x18 for around $3 at Costco and you can fit extra pp or photos on the side. It's not too bad.
But I really love the look of them at 9x9 then you can get two for that price!
